REBECCA MEREDITH, Toronto Criminal Defence Litigation Lawyer

Rebecca is an associate at Hicks Adams LLP, where her practice focuses exclusively on criminal defence litigation. She has worked on a wide range of cases, from theft and assault to firearm and drug-related offences. Rebecca summered and articled at Hicks Adams LLP, at which time she gained invaluable experience working alongside senior counsel on complex matters before the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice. Rebecca received her J.D. from the University of Toronto where she focused her studies on criminal law. During law school, Rebecca served as co-president of the Criminal Lawyer’s Association. She volunteered as a working group leader at the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights and a caseworker at Downtown Legal Services. Before attending law school, Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), summa cum laude, in Philosophy from the University of Ottawa. Rebecca recognizes how stressful a criminal charge can be and is committed to working closely with clients to meet their individual needs.
