VINCENT RISHEA, Toronto Criminal Lawyer
Vincent Rishea is an associate with Hicks Adams LLP. He has always been focused on Criminal Law, completing a Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology at York University in 2006 and a Law Degree at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2017. Between receiving his Criminology Degree and beginning work on his Law Degree, Vincent worked in a variety of jobs related to Criminal Law, notably spending six and a half years working with the Toronto Police as a 911 Calltaker and Dispatcher. Vincent is frequently able to utilize his experience with and knowledge of police procedure and tactics to benefit his current clients. At Osgoode, Vincent studied Criminal Law almost exclusively, with a focus on Criminal Defence. While working on his Law Degree, he also worked at the CLASP Legal Aid Clinic, providing legal services to clients charged with criminal offences who could not afford lawyers. Vincent worked at Hicks Adams LLP as a summer student in 2016 and articled there from 2017-2018. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2018. Vincent is passionate about providing representation to any individual charged with a criminal offence. He firmly believes that no one, no matter their background, or the charges they face, should ever have to stand alone against the Criminal Justice System.
